ABOUT JENNA

My name is Jenna Heene and I am the owner of Jenna Personal Training and Co- Owner of Challenge Yourself Goodna.

 

After losing over 30kgs + I decided to join the Health and Fitness industry as a Personal trainer in 2014. I am passionate about helping people achieve their health and fitness goals while working with any obstacles they may have along the way. I have a home-based studio located in the Ipswich Region, as well as working in Local Parks running Bootcamps. Since Covid-19, I have introduced Virtual PT Sessions and Bootcamps for those who feel safer staying at home.

 

Throughout my career as a Personal Trainer, I have competed in previous years (2014 - 2017) as a Fitness/ Bikini Model/Sculpturer on stage and placed 3rd in INBA (International Natural Bodybuilding Association) and 2nd in AWNBS (Australian Woman’s Natural Body Sculpting). I have run numerous challenges which has seen amazing success stories and had clients continue on to work future on themselves with new goals in mind.

 

I became a trainer to show that it can be done no matter what age / gender/ weight, that you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it while having the right person to motivate you. Nothing brings me more joy then seeing others achieve their results for a happier and healthier future.

Real Experiences, Stunning Results

Having joined the gym 18 months ago and exercising by myself, i was given the gift of 4 PT sessions for my birthday. I chose Jenna because she was one of the trainers at the gym and would always provide advice and encouragement. Jenna has trained me ever since and once the covid restrictions came into play Jenna and i have switched to virtual sessions - which for me is great - no excuses for not going to the gym, sessions are flexible (i went interstate for 2 weeks and still did my sessions). What do you do? PT, occasional boot camps and virtuals during COVID I’ve been training with Jenna since 2018 (I think) and in that time I have developed ALOT more confidence with my workouts and to walk into the gym without thinking twice. When I first started I struggled to even do a push-up and now I’m doing things I didn’t even know the name of 2 years ago. My fitness has improved greatly during my time with Jenna and will only get better with time. I’ll recommend her to anyone that will listen- It’s awesome to feel like you have a friend to talk to while you work out!

Jenna began training me about 4 years ago, about 12 months before I had gastric sleeve surgery. Not only did she help me through two major surgeries, her support and training helped to get my body ready for major change and then further through recovery and building back my strength and confidence from there. She is only my trainer, she is my friend, my therapist and life advisor when I need it!! She is flexible and so good at her job! She can read my mood and my face before, during and after my training and knows exactly when to push me and when to hold back. She is amazing!!!

I first meet Jenna 2 years ago after taking her classes at the local gym and then started training with her.  Jenna is absolutely brilliant. So supportive, flexible and always changing it up to suit my ever growing fitness level and abilities. I love training in her studio. The virtual classes are awesome especially when cannot get to one of her classes in the park. Before having children, I was active, I loved to swim, play sport and go to the gym. Since becoming a mum, I have found it difficult to keep fit on my own; lack of motivation, tired, supervising my children, worried about how I would look in public. I met Jenna and started doing early Saturday morning Bootcamps while my husband and children slept. Once a week was a nice introduction to an exercise routine and Jenna was encouraging. In December I introduced Jenna’s virtual sessions to my routine (which I love). This was a game changer! While my husband’s at work and my children are asleep, I can get a cheeky half hour workout without worrying about what I am wearing or if the kids are alright. I lack the motivation to maintain an exercise routine, but with Jenna calling in for a virtual session keeps me on track and I only need to focus on one session at a time. I am planning on going on holidays soon and I am keen to continue my exercise routine with the Virtual Classes. I have also added in the PT sessions to boost my potential. I have teamed up with one other person for the PT sessions. Since starting with Jenna, I have developed a positive self-perception of myself as fit mummy. I have also noticed how much better I move in everyday activities my body feels stronger and I still enjoy my cheeky wine and chocolate.
